Cure Brain Cancer Foundation
Corporate Business Development Manager
Cerebral Palsy League
I am writing to express my gratitude on behalf of the CPL team and the people we support.
What a great success Wheel Make a Change 2014 was. We were overwhelmed with the overall result, having raised up to $185,000 for people with disabilities.
Of course, the success of this event would not have been possible without your ongoing support. Peter, [our account manager] I really appreciated you going above and beyond in regards to setting up the campaign on my behalf. Thank you so much.
I will touch base with you shortly in regards to meeting above next year’s event, so that I have a better understanding of your system and more time to create a very impressionable campaign!
Cancer Society Auckland
It is with pleasure I submit a testimonial on behalf of Cancer Society Auckland, for the fantastic service we have received from everydayhero over the past two and a half years.
Our choice to partner with everydayhero has delivered superior results in our multiple online fundraising campaigns consistently over time. everydayhero provided superior functionality of the fundraising platform when compared to others in the market, commitment of on-going development of the platform to match the continual need to stay at the front of market requirements, flexibility to adapt to the requirements of local events and patience shown by all everydayhero staff we dealt with through the introductory process as we as an organisation learned about effective fundraising using the platform.
The research made available to us from everydayhero enabled planning, ability to set
targets and monitor campaign progress against benchmarks.
The most crucial aspect of our evolving relationship with everydayhero has been the basis of a partnership rather than simply a service provider.
everydayhero understands that their success is based on client success so seek to understand requirements, solve problems and deliver solutions when challenges present.
With the success of the everydayhero platform for Cancer Society Auckland Division, all six Divisions within NZ, now partner with everydayhero for national fundraising campaigns.
National Manager, Jump Rope for Heart
In 2014 the Heart Foundation’s Jump Rope for Heart program engaged everydayhero to facilitate the online fundraising aspect of our program.
Jump Rope for Heart is a fundraising and physical activity program run across all states of Australia, involving more than 1,000 schools and over 360,000 primary school aged children.
The program can be run at anytime throughout the school year and requires impactful, simple, yet concise fundraising communication directed at the teaching staff, parents and the children themselves, in order to drive online revenue. It is fair to say that there is a significant level of complexity involved in maximising online fundraising for JRFH. As an added challenge, in 2014 we are trialing a number of different fundraising models of the program, all of which involve online fundraising.
The team at everydayhero have proven to be proactive and responsive in the account management of our business. The team have worked hard to understand how Jump Rope for Heart is delivered, what the barriers to online fundraising are and what can be done to get more children actively engaged in online fundraising for our program. They have devised creative and inspiring communication pieces, with a view to liting fundraising results, including but not limited to, the development of motivational video clips. Furthermore, customer support to our fundraisers (often the parents) and the school based staff responsible for driving the program, largely through the consumer support line, has been prompt, reliable and helpful.
Operating a national program, with four different test models must be underpinned by a comprehensive reporting structure. This has meant on-going review and improvements to our reporting tools, a service that the team at Everyday Hero have worked hard to deliver upon.
Broadly speaking, the everydayhero team have shown themselves to be genuinely interested in seeing our program succeed, asking questions, seeking answers, fixing what is not working for us and looking for opportunities to extend our message. I’m very appreciative of their efforts and I am looking forward to working with them again.
Senior Manager, Supporter Engagement
RSPCA NSW have been working with everydayhero for the past six years, providing effective fundraising platforms for our major events and community fundraising programs.
What I believe makes everydayhero stand out from the rest, is the ability for users to process offline donations.
Whether making a simple donation or banking cash funds raised at an event, this offline solution provides our supporters with endless choices and a much easier process to bank their funds.
In addition to the benefit to the supporters experience, our internal processes and workloads have been decreased, resulting in our time being better spent engaging with our supporters and making the most of their fundraising experience.
Fundraising Events Manager
Very Special Kids
everydayhero offered Very Special Kids a bespoke Giving Hub solution for our annual 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge, which utilises the Heroix platform.
everydayhero were able to accommodate our requirements for complex team layering, registrations, sponsor requirements, leader boards and back of house reporting.
We felt engaged throughout the development process which was built in a stage by stage process, allowing changes to occur along the way for event developments that were not factored at the beginning of the project. Excellent customer service was offered to Very Special Kids program managers and to users who required troubleshooting assistance.
The annual fundraising event saw over 5,000 donations in a two month period with 99% of donations coming through the Giving Hub with fundraising increasing 52% from the previous year.
Additionally the Heroix platform offered a significant cost saving than Very Special Kids engaging a developer to create a custom made Giving Hub.
Corporate Development Manager
Ronald McDonald House Randwick
“We recently made the decision to invest in an everydayhero Giving Hub. We needed a solution to streamline the location of information about our programs and be able to offer fundraising opportunities to our supporters.
As an existing Heroix subscriber, it just made sense to have one place where individuals, corporates, community groups, families and anyone interested in supporting Ronald McDonald House Randwick could go.
I’ve always found the service with everydayhero to be exceptional, in this role and previous roles. From simple questions to complex, there is always someone to answer.
[Account manager] Kristine Ash was a godsend during the planning and creation of our Giving Hub; always available or very prompt to follow up. The same can be said for the development team at the final stages; responding quickly to changes needed.
Fundraising and Partnerships Manager
“The Telethon team are delighted to be working with everydayhero and are excited to use the Heroix software to drive our two major appeals this year.
Ater exploring the opportunity of Heroix thoroughly we were confident that it was the right solution to drive our revenue in 2014 and beyond. The pre-sales support was terrific and the continued support as we go live from the everydayhero team has been great.
