Could you fathom travelling hundreds or even thousands of kilometres each month for your child to receive hospital treatment away from home? That’s the unfortunate reality for some New Zealand families, who travel over 100KM every month seeking treatment for their ill child.
That’s where House to House steps in. Arranged by Ronald McDonald House Charities®️ (RMHC®️) New Zealand, the event supports more than 3,700 families each year by providing free accommodation and taking care of responsibilities while their child undergoes treatment in a hospital away from home. Fundraisers who choose to participate in their annual event support RMHC® by walking, running, biking, or swimming. Their collective goal is 100,556KM: one for each kilometre travelled by New Zealand families each month.
